Concert with Yo-Yo Ma!

Citizen Artistry!  That was the topic of the Aspen Institute's Conference in NYC this week.

On Tuesday night, there was a great dinner at the Lotos Club, where the discussions continued.  The next day, the discussions continued, followed by rehearsals with Yo-Yo Ma and Damian Woetzel.  The culminating concert and discussion took place at the Danny Kaye Playhouse of Hunter College on Wednesday night.

The performance included a music/poetry version of the Gershwin First Prelude, the Tchaikovsky Serenade for Strings, and a dance-choreographed Waltz and Merengue!
