Steinway Hall, NYC

No Guests at Juilliard

There's a rule that no guests are allowed during the summer.  I might rant about this at some point, but today is not that time.  It's a pretty good looking school, though (they recently went through a huge renovation).  Here are some pictures I snapped of Juilliard and the Lincoln Center (across the street).

...So Off to Steinway Hall!

Steinway Hall in New York City is great, and they have excellent facilities.  One of the biggest perks of being a Steinway Artist is that you can go practice anywhere in the world that sells Steinways...almost like a home away from home. :)  It has been probably about six years or so since I was last in the building, so I of course took some pictures.

I had a loooong day today teaching, practicing, and tutoring, so I am about to hit the sack for the night.  Good night everyone, and see you soon!

  2. I am greatly enjoying your blogs. I hope your schedule will include a visit to Atlanta sometime soon. Would love to hear you play at Spivey Hall.

    1. Thanks so much, Robert! I hope so too! I was at the University of Georgia not long ago, but I don't think my new 2012/2013 season includes a stop in Atlanta... :(

See if you could get one of the orchestras or concert organizers to invite me to perform! That would be amazing! :D
